1. What does Selex E&C do?

Selex E&C is an EPCIC (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Installation, Commissioning, Operations & Maintenance) company serving the oil & gas industry across Nigeria and the broader African market, with three core service lines: Turnkey Plant Construction; Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation & Control (EICA) Solutions; and Plant Operation Support, Maintenance & Upgrade Services.

2. What industries does Selex serve?

Our primary market is the entire oil & gas value chain — upstream, midstream and downstream. We plan to extend our services into power, manufacturing, telecoms and infrastructure as we grow.

3. Does Selex work onshore and offshore?

Our plant construction offering currently covers full-spectrum onshore solutions. Offshore operations are currently limited to electrical, instrumentation, automation, control and operations support/maintenance services, with plans to expand offshore construction capability.

4. Can Selex act as a main EPC contractor or a subcontractor?

Both. Selex is strategically positioned to function as a turnkey construction main contractor, a turnkey construction subcontractor for specialized scopes, or an operations & maintenance service contractor — whichever best fits the client’s project structure.

5. Does Selex handle engineering, or only construction?

We handle the full spectrum — feasibility, process design, plant design, civil & structural, architectural, fire control, procurement and cost estimation — in addition to construction, installation, and commissioning. For EICA scopes specifically, we differentiate ourselves by taking engineering responsibility rather than limiting our role to installation and commissioning only.

6. What fabrication capacity does Selex have?

Selex operates a medium-sized in-house fabrication facility and has access to ASME-stamped fabrication facilities in Lagos and Port Harcourt, supported by our affiliate companies ARIL Technologies Limited and Loneb Resources Limited.

7. Does Selex provide manpower/staffing services?

Yes. We provide skilled manpower to the oil & gas industry across upstream, midstream and downstream sub-sectors, on short- or long-term bases — ranging from field operators to asset management personnel — including pre-deployment safety and operations training.

8. What quality standards and certifications does Selex hold?

We operate under ISO 9001 quality management principles (certification in progress) and are registered with Duns & Bradstreet. We adhere to international codes and standards including API, ASME, ISA, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, NEC and NERC.
