Turnkey electrical, instrumentation, control, metering, fire and gas, and protection systems installation and hookup for a 200 MMSCF facility.

The Challenge

The NAG3 Cryogenic Gas Handling Plant required a comprehensive electrical and instrumentation infrastructure capable of supporting the operation and control of a large-scale gas processing facility.

The project involved integrating multiple plant systems—including power distribution, process control, instrumentation, metering, safety systems, and protection infrastructure—into a coordinated facility-wide installation.

Our Approach

We adopted a turnkey approach covering the installation and hookup of the plant’s electrical and instrumentation systems. This included cable laying and termination, fabrication of cable and equipment supports, installation of control and power systems, and connection of field instrumentation.

The approach also incorporated the plant’s safety and protection infrastructure, including fire and gas systems, firefighting systems, earthing, and lightning protection, ensuring that these systems formed part of the overall plant installation rather than being treated as separate components.

The Solution

We are executing the plant-wide electrical and instrumentation installation and hookup for the NAG3 Cryogenic Gas Handling Plant.

The scope includes installation of:

  • DCS systems for centralised process monitoring and control
  • Switchgears and MCCs for electrical power distribution and motor control
  • Synchronization panels and gas generators for power generation and management
  • Control valves and metering systems for process control and measurement
  • Fire & Gas (F&G) and firefighting systems for facility safety
  • Instrument tubing and field instrumentation connections
  • Earthing and lightning protection systems for electrical safety and asset protection

The works cover the infrastructure required to support the operation of the 200 MMSCF facility.

The Impact

The ongoing project is establishing the integrated electrical, instrumentation, control, safety, and protection infrastructure required for the NAG3 facility.

By bringing these systems together under a turnkey installation and hookup scope, the project provides the plant with the essential infrastructure needed for power distribution, process control, monitoring, measurement, equipment operation, and facility protection as the project progresses toward completion.
