The Escravos project required the successful commissioning of GE transformer equipment as part of the wider EPWD Electrical & Instrumentation works. The commissioning process needed to confirm that the transformer and associated systems were correctly prepared, operational, and performing according to the required project conditions before hand-over.
We participated as an approved service partner providing technical support to GE, bringing specialised commissioning expertise to the project.
Our approach covered the pre-commissioning stage, where the equipment and associated systems were prepared and checked, followed by commissioning support and performance verification. This allowed potential issues to be identified and addressed before the equipment was formally handed over.
